Fake Trips To Heaven..Or Hell

Trips To Heaven: Tainted Messages From Beyond The Grave

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Mark 13:22
Trips To Which heaven Can this be?
Trips To Which heaven is this?

The following piece is typical of the materials Christians send to one another through WhatsApp and the internet nowadays. I would be surprised if anyone has never received something similar to it in the last few years. Please read it with care….

“*I WAS TOUCHED IN THE SPIRIT WHEN I HEARD THIS*…

One of our pastors was preaching yesterday evening, and he said: 3 weeks ago, while he was doing morning prayer a man came out of his house listening and responding amen to his prayers…

After he finished preaching, the man came to him and said “pastor, I want to speak with you.

“While they were yet discussing, the man showed him his house. He said: see that upstairs, God built it for me as a reason of me evangelizing for Him but now, I don’t evangelize anymore and I don’t know why, but I’m still serving God…

The man said: my wife died 2 weeks ago. While the pastor was trying to sympathize with him, he said “no, because she returned back to life.”

“And he started crying…”

The pastor was curious to know why he was crying, and the man said: she died in an operation and the doctors confirmed her dead, but she returned back to life with a message…

And the message was “Go and tell your husband and everyone, as many as you can reach, tell them that:

*”THE CHARIOTS ARE READY!!”* and the man continued crying…

Friend(s), I don’t think we need any other explanation to this…

What we should do, I don’t think we need anyone to tell us..

There’s no more time… *BE INFORMED… BE WARNED…*

Please don’t just read and like this, but make sure that you share with everyone in your contacts.

By doing this, you’re as well doing

a great work of evangelism which is the heart beat of God.

God bless You.

(Forwarded as received).”

On the face of it, most people are disarmed by the main thrust of the open message this piece attempts to convey: getting ready for the second coming of the Lord or evangelizing the world. Who would preach against sermons so apt as those?

It is the underlying messages we must concern ourselves with. Apart from the erroneous teaching that God gave the speaker his house in payment for his evangelistic services, the issue of the call for readiness and evangelism in this story, as in many other similar stories, is that it is given by someone pronounced dead. He or she, just being dead, has now somehow seen new lights and is desirous of nothing than to warn the living to sit up with their faith in God. The average Christian spreads these stories without asking the relevant questions whether indeed it was God that sent it.[sgmb id=”1″]

The various relevant passages of the Bible from the Old to the New Testaments are clear that the dead do not communicate with the living. God frowns terribly at every attempt to bridge this chasm and I invite my readers to note the severity of the language the Bible uses on this practice in the following passages. God calls the practice and the practitioners “abomination“.

Deu 18:10  There shall not be found among you any one that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that uses divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

Deu 18:11  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

Deu 18:12  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”

Necromancy Disguised As Trips To Heaven

That big word, ‘necromancer’ at the end of verse 11 of that passage means: “One that speaks to, or engages in, communication with the dead.” God proves the consistency of Himself by the story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:

Luk 16:19  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luk 16:20  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luk 16:21  And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luk 16:22  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luk 16:23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luk 16:24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luk 16:25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luk 16:26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luk 16:27  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou would send him to my father’s house:

Luk 16:28  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luk 16:29  Abraham says unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luk 16:30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luk 16:31  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

Readers are asked to note the conclusion of this story in verse 31 of Luke 16 above: God would not permit Abraham, under any circumstances, to send anyone from the dead to warn the living.

Most of us going to church in our days are deceived into thinking God has now changed His nature and laws and we can now receive communications from the dead because the communications supposedly talk about ‘Jesus’ or ‘evangelism’ or ‘love’. This is an example of the infiltration of quiet satanic doctrines into the church. It is an aspect of the teachings of the Word-of-Faith evil that everyone who sincerely believes he is a child of God has to watch out for.

Necromancing is now packaged as words and revelations from the Lord!

We have drawn our readers’ attention to the reactions of Paul in Acts 16 to the correct prophecies of the demon-possessed slave maid in his time in one of our previous posts. The fact that a message is Biblical does not give anyone the right to override any other passage of the Bible or overlook the source of the message. The subtle teachings on re-incarnation or re-surfacing of the dead in one form or the other before the day of judgment is not found in the Bible: Heb 9:27  “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. It is wholly an aspect of Satan’s efforts to discredit the Bible as being either unreliable or insufficient. Any one that propagates this doctrine, whether he is aware of it or not, is serving the devil in this his efforts. It is a satanic teaching that the dead are permitted to roam about and communicate with the living: this teaching is deployed by the devil to make men doubt the certainty of judgment and hell.

Lazarus And His Four-Day Stay In The Grave

The story of the death and resurrection of Lazarus in John 11 and  John 12 is such  that we need to pay close attention to God’s Mind on what He wants us to know about the happenings in the other side of the grave. We  surely cannot say Lazarus was not dead long enough to see things in ‘heaven’ and report back after he was resurrected. But what tales do we have on his experiences on the other side? None! God would not allow anyone, anyhow, to bear tales that would contradict His words.

Paul And His Visit To The Third Heaven

Saint Paul’s visit to heaven is another one recorded in the scriptures:

It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 2Co 12:1-4

Again, what details do we have on what Paul experienced on this vision? None. God is consistent.

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deu 29:29

Trips To Heaven: Who Then Is Piercing The Veil?

Are we by these points saying the people who say they receive one message or the other from beyond the grave are liars and that they actually received no messages? No, the Bible never said such thing and the reader should tread very carefully here: the Bible says every such message is from a familiar spirit, not the actual spirit of the dead relative; it is a demon very familiar with the thoughts and the speaking mannerisms of the dead perfectly mimicking him or her in death. This obviously brings up series of very important issues on everyone who receives these communications from familiar spirits: they are wittingly or unwittingly trafficking with demons. They are spiritually very sick and they need to realize what is going on and seek help from the Lord Jesus Christ to be rid of the demons instead of converting the evil messages into sermons which ignorant members of the church pass off to each other. Lev 20:27, 1 Sam 28:7-8, Isa 29:4.

What does the Bible call the men and women who transmit or originate these messages? Wizards and witches.

Yes. The so-called pastors and bishops who originate these messages are regarded by God as wizards and witches.

Let me repeat this truth: Every Word of Faith or Prosperity  pastor who receives or transmits messages from the dead is a witch!

The Sufficiency Of The Bible

God in His mercy has given us all that pertain to life and godliness in His word:

2 Peter 1:3  According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

We must watch out for any new extra-biblical revelations from the dead or anyone who said he has been on a trip to heaven or hell. The only purposes their tales serve, apart from the financial remuneration they obtain from people buying their books and movies, are to undermine the sufficiency and the integrity of the Bible.

That cannot be from the God of the Bible, can it?

One reply on “Fake Trips To Heaven..Or Hell”

  1. Sir,

We are also warned that the Chariots of fire of God are ready, and that the angels are standing in positions, that we should get ready, my ministry was warned expressly. I came about this post because am searching about the word of God. I never knew that there are still people who hold unto the true word of God. Many people are aware of this warning but will they heed to it? I pray it won’t be too late for Christians.
