David Oyedepo Brings Out Live Snakes And Scorpions From The Bodies Of Devotees

THE CHURCH AS A WITCHES’ COVEN: DAVID OYEDEPO AND THE MYSTERY OF EVIL

“Pastor” David Oyedepo Brings Out Snakes And Scorpions From Bodies Of His Followers: Like Who?

(The reader needs to pause and consider what he is reading (or hearing, if he has put on the sermon itself) here. Which religious/spiritual group causes things to manifest from thin air? Magicians and sorcerers. And not even every ordinary magician or sorcerer produces snakes and scorpions when they apply their secret arts. Mr David Oyedepo is no mean sorcerer.)

David Oyedepo Boasts of His Snakes And Scorpions

There are quite a few troubling statements you read in the Bible and you wonder how such things can really come to be. I spent the first few years of my life as a Christian virtually dismissing the possibility of a few of them. Matthew 7:22-23 ranked high among such passages for me. For most of that time I could not bring my head around on how the scenario painted in that passage could possibly be: people going about making claims of their relationships to the Lord Jesus Christ, and, He, when they got to the gate of heaven denying He ever knew them?

Where on earth would this sort of people be – people who had cast out demons, done many wonderful miracles and prophesied in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and, He, never, ever, knew them? I dismissed the idea the people ever existed or could ever be.

[sgmb id=”4″]

That was until the Word of Faith, Dominionism and Prosperity Preachers came along.

And just as the good book in Matthew 24:24 says, they are more than subtle enough to deceive even the elect, if that were to be possible. They use Christian jargon, pray in the name of Jesus Christ and proclaim they perform mighty miracles. Most people who attend church services, carelessly oblivious of the extensive statements in the Bible on how to recognize wolves Satan would send to destroy them, are unaware their new ‘teachers’ do not have any relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

And these people are always teachers, always eager at every opportunity to tell everyone around that the 2,000-year old received wisdom from the Bible has now been superseded by their new revelations!

The Bible has declared new prophecies and revelations on the church close. It says it already contains ALL that anyone would ever need for righteousness and godliness (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It heaps curses on anyone who would preach any other Jesus or propound any other ‘gospel’, Galatians 1:8-9. But in their delusion, the new ‘revelation knowledge’, which, by the way, our teachers obtain from demons, has ‘taken care’ of the strict prohibitions by God in Revelation 22:18-19 and Deuteronomy 4:2 against adding to or deducting from the words of God in the Bible.

While pretending to revere the Bible, our new teachers have consistently declared the Book obsolete and incomplete. The new ‘revelation knowledge’ they receive from some ‘jesus’ who appears to them in their dreams or when they are on their ‘prayer mountains’ is the thing we must now accept! And it has been quite lucrative for our teachers. They have built financial empires for themselves at the expense of the souls of the people. Theirs, like Judas’, are blood money derived from selling fake, dangerous, and often occult, ideas and promises.

Not many more people have wreaked more havoc on the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Nigeria than the Founder of The Winner’s Chapel. Not many have done more to promote Satan’s designs for the destruction of the people of Nigeria than Mr David Oyedepo. To him, it is not enough to have formed a religion out of greed: his MYSTERY OF THE ANOINTING OIL sermon is a satanic concoction aimed at immersing his followers into deeper and deeper occultism in the guise of espousing to them ‘mysteries’ no one had ever heard of in the church.

For anyone whose object is mere style and techniques of sermon delivery, this is just another sermon. The problems start the moment you begin to ask yourself the following questions:

What was that the man just said?
From where in the Bible can I get an example of what I just heard?
Where or who does that thing I just heard from Mr Oyedepo’s mouth?
If what I heard in the sermon is a true reflection of his mind, which god is this preacher talking about?
Was this teaching given in a church, in a Freemason’s meeting or in a witches’ coven?

The sermon is a prime specimen of what it means for an un-regenerated, occultly powerful, person to take on the duty of teaching people about God.

As a counter to the egregious evil espoused in every part of this sermon, we have included bible-backed comments showing that these ideas are not only unbiblical in the extreme, some of them can only have come from the occult.

(Quotes from Mr Oyedepo’s sermon are in red; our comments are in normal print.)

“I’ve been sharing with you on the mystery of the anointing oil. And as god opens your eyes and brings you into that blessedness, the world will begin to look from afar and say, ‘The lord has done great things for them’.”“So, the anointing oil is not a ritual, it’s not a magic wand, it’s not a symbol, not just a chemical product. It is the Spirit of God mysteriously packaged in a chemical product.”

You must take caution anytime any preacher starts telling you he has some mystery to teach you, mystery no previous generation ever understood, particularly if the Bible never used the word ‘mystery’ for what he is talking about. At a minimum level, the preacher is simply playing on words. But if, as in the present case, the phenomena he is describing are not only weird but have no validating verses and passages in the Bible, all red lights and alarms must start buzzing.

Mr Oyedepo’s anointing oil, by his belief, is God. Such a belief has no verses or passages to support it in the Bible; in fact it is against the central teaching of the Bible that God is a Spirit (John 4:24). But this has not stopped him from not only believing this evil idea but forcefully teaching it as doctrine. He is holding himself out as being beyond the level of the Bible.

He says God was packaged in an oil! How deluded can people get? The Spirit of God packaged in a physical object? Is that not the definition of idolatry? Yet some people sat under this sort of teaching, even clapping their hands that they were receiving good revelations from God!

“I like you to know there are teachers, there are pastors, there are evangelists and there are messengers. It’s a world of difference.A messenger receives it (message) from God. Then the pastors come along the line; the teachers come along the line; the evangelists come along the line to (help) distribute what has come.”

Do you see what our bishop is doing here? He is establishing the premise for his next set of evil. What he is onto here is what they term NAR, New Apostolic Reformation, in their circle. This is the teaching that the time of the Apostleships of Paul, Peter, James, John, Matthew and Jude – and obviously the scriptures they wrote – is over. God, according to our new teachers, was now appointing new Apostles who would hear new messages and revelations from God. These new Super Apostles would then make available to their less fortunate followers whatever message they receive from ‘God’. This is the basis of much of the evil they teach in Word of Faith, Charismatic and Prosperity churches.

His problem is that the Bible foresaw and clearly rejects this evil long time ago.

‘ …there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,1 Timothy 2:5’:only ONE MEDIATOR between God and man, the Man, Christ Jesus!

So, whoever is telling you he is the one that stands before God for you or anyone else to receive any revelation God wants to give to you or any other person, revelations that are not in the 2,000-year old Bible, is formulating ideas rejected by the Bible.

Very much unlike the hierarchical distribution-chain system our bishop is preaching, the Lord Jesus Christ has made available to EACH of His true followers His Holy Spirit, who teaches EACH of His people “all things, and brings all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have said” to themJohn 14:26.

In propagating the hierarchical distribution-chain theory in receiving revelations and guidance from God, a veritable doctrine of demons, Mr Oyedepo is being true-to-type in working as a mouthpiece of the anti-christ in laying out the latter’s religion. Every reader, for his own sake, should read the detailed description of the anti-christ’s One-World religion in Revelation 13 and note the lamb-like beast that institutes and enforces it:

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.Rev 13:12 And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Rev 13:13 And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
Rev 13:14 And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
Rev 13:16 And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

“Every generation has its messenger! As a matter of fact the Bible talked of…and I saw four carpenters. How many carpenters? Four. That suggests that… perhaps… they are allocated to each of the four corners of the Earth.”

Are you following his train of thought? I advise you read the passage in the Bible where Mr Oyedepo is quoting. It is in Zechariah 1:18-21.

You must note, first, the limit of the geography that God is talking about there: Zion (Jerusalem) and Judah, not any ‘four corners of the Earth’. Secondly, you must note the extra-ordinary nature of both the horns and the carpenters in the passage: more likely than not they are spiritual, not mere human, beings.

No matter: our Messenger has conveniently inserted himself into the passage all the same!

He is the one allocated to these parts!

“I want to submit with all sense of humility I am privileged to be one of such (four) messengers to (this) generation!”

Do you notice this extreme humility from our bishop? Like all other false teachers and his mentors such as William Branham, God could not but insert his name in the Bible! Is anyone hearing the echos of the Reverend Jim Jones of the Guyana Tragedy anywhere here?

That is what the Lord Jesus Christ said about many fake christs popping up at the end of the age! Matthew 24:24. Mr Oyedepo is making himslf into a christ here.

“And I am privileged to hold a key in my hand that (can) help you gain access to the mystery that is committed to me as part of the dispensation of the gospel.”

Did you see that? God has left a key you need to access His goodness and mercy, not in His Son, not even in the Bible, but in the hand of a man who cannot explain the difference between the magic he performs and the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Is it possible Mr Oyedepo has never come across John 14:6 before?

Jesus said HE, Jesus Christ, is the ONLY WAY to God. Mr Oyedepo says God has made a detour that passes through his sitting room for people of his generation!

Are you not seeing another christ with another gospel here?

You must contrast the spirit and the meaning of the ‘ all ye are brethren’ words of Christ, below, with the master-servant teachings of Mr Oyedepo:

Mat 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
Mat 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Mat 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

Who do you think teaches the truths of God : the Lord Jesus Christ or Bishop David Oyedepo?

But what really are those special keys specially committed to Mr Oyedepo, the kind of which no generation in the church had ever seen? As you will soon find out, they are related to his bringing out snakes and scorpions from the bodies of his followers.

David Oyedepo Brings Out A Scorpion

“That man at the age of 70, the wife said, ‘No. A child shall die a hundred years old’. I told her that; she didn’t know that before: not regular scripture. I said, ‘Hold the teeth; I am coming’. We went to pick the oil and poured the oil inside. I told her that there is something inside the oil that generations before us never saw. But God sent me to show you there is something inside the oil.

You remember the little boy, four years old? He told the grandmother, ‘Give me the oil.’ And he took the oil, vomited a live scorpion! That was not there before. People didn’t see it (so) before!”

Mr Oyedepo says he has run into a new discovery of some special powers inside the anointing oil no generation before his ever saw. These special powers produce snakes and scorpions upon the application of his anointing oil.

You do not need to have participated in occult activities or read the books of Dr Kurt Koch to note the impossibility of a live scorpion coming out of anyone’s mouth by mere ingestion of any oil without some supernatural means. Mr Oyedepo’s stand is that it was the God of heaven, the God of the Bible, that caused the live scorpion to manifest upon the application of the biblically prescribed anointing oil. The main problem he has is showing us at least two instances in the Bible where anything remotely similar to such ever happened in the past.

Can you remember where in the Bible a scorpion or set of scorpions was produced when Christ or any of His Apostles ministered? Since there is no such example either from the Lord Jesus Christ or any of His duly selected Apostles, we must conclude that some spirit, very different from the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, is at play in the ‘ministry’ of our Bishop. This clearly leads everyone to the question of whether it is possible for the Spirit of Christ to live inside a person while the same person performs uncommon magic and acts of sorcery through a different spirit. The only conclusion open to us from the Bible is to reject such possibility. A sorcerer cannot be a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ at the same time.

Going by the contents of the Bible and the self-admission of Mr Oyedepo, he is not a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ but an enemy of Christ.

We can therefore see the reasons why he works so feverishly to declare the Bible obsolete and promotes the revelations he receives from his demons and the teachings of other occult people such as Phineas Quimby, E.W. Kenyon, Kathryn Kuhlman and frauds such as T. L. Osborn, Kenneth Hagin, Benson Idahosa and Kenneth Copeland above the word of God.

“I like us to first recognize that the kingdom of God is a kingdom of mysteries. And God has set men and women apart in every generation as his agent to unfold the mysteries according to his divine agenda. These mysteries are kingdom treasures hid in the belly of scriptures and God appoints men and women in every generation to uncover these mysteries according to His divine agenda.”

There are basically only two mysteries in the Bible: the mystery of Christ and the mystery of iniquity. The only one that is involved in producing snakes and scorpions out of thin air is the mystery of iniquity. It is the only one that needs to impress its victims with its miracle prowess even where none is required.

And the idea of God setting men and women to unfold mysteries in every generation is NAR. You cannot find any support for it in the New Testament or anywhere in the Bible. It is not just that you cannot find any support for NAR in the Bible, the Book in Hebrews 1:1-6 forbids the teaching! God has given His last revelation and it is in His Son: He has revealed the last revelation man would receive concerning Himself and it is in His Son, Jesus Christ. 1 John 5:12 He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.

‘ He that hates me hates my Father also’. John 15:23‘And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.’ 1 John 5:11‘He that honours not the Son honours not the Father which has sent him.’ John 5:23

All the treasures of God are in Jesus Christ, Col 2:2-3.

Everyone going about preaching the establishment of another set of revelators is working for the anti-christ.

“There are still Apostles and Prophets around the world today who are custodians of the mysteries of the kingdom. They are the custodians of mysteries of the kingdom and as they open the chapters given to them, it launches the church into a new realm.”

There are still Apostles in the world today? Really? People who met the terms and conditions set out by the Holy Spirit through Peter in Acts 1:21-22 are still in the world, Mr Oyedepo? No, according to the Bible, there are NO Apostles in the world. There are only fakes and impostors.

Can the reader note another evil in that statement? God keeps secrets with some agents who are the CUSTODIANS of the mysteries of His kingdom! Can you see that that statement has nullified the Bible? Why worry yourself noting things written in the Old Book when there are mysteries given by God to your generation’s custodians that are now beckoning on you to approach them?

Have you seen we are dealing with ANOTHER RELIGION here – a religion that, while pretending to be based on Christianity, is essentially designed to displace it?

Can you see we are back to Aladura teachings – this time with only the Bishop in his special, occult, white garments? Or you think those white dresses the Bishop wears mean nothing? Check out Benny Hinn and Kathryn Kuhlman.

“What is in the oil? The Spirit of God is in the oil! Power is in the oil.Power is in the oil.Power is in the oil.Power!Common, say with me: Power! The healing virtue is in the oil.”

The above quote deserves a closer look. Beings of power are connected to Mr Oyedepo’s oil, if his testimonies can be believed. However, those beings are NOT from God. They are from the Devil. Power itself is not in the oil. The Spirit of God IS NOT in the oil. Mr Oyedepo’s assertion that, ‘The Spirit of God is in the oil!’ is a pure ruse designed by him to deceive his audience. He knows very well that there is nothing special about his oil in itself. But since it is the vehicle being used by his familiar spirits and demons to conjure up and materialize living things, he needs to convince his gullible listeners that he has discovered a special mystery unknown to any other generation before his. It is a lie. The animals are being materialized by demons. No one can manufacture from the Bible any mystery that neither the Lord Jesus Christ nor the Apostles ever taught.

Of course our bishop could not give us a single Bible verse that supports his assertions. But his followers can’t care less! What do you need Bible verses for when you receive ‘direct revelation knowledge’ from the ‘author’ of the book? Who needs a book when you are in touch with a spirit!

“Sound health is your birthright in Christ!Sound health is your birthright in Christ!Sound health is your birthright in Christ!Sound health is your birthright in Christ!”

‘Sound health is your birthright in Christ’ but Mr Oyedepo’s wife just returned from a life-threatening surgery. And his church loses more than 1,000 people to death every year.

Could it be the birthrights of these people expired without the knowledge of their Bishop?

He is a fake. He is selling a product that does not exist. He is worse: he is sent by the Devil to lull people to sleep concerning their fates so they would never think of their meeting their Maker.

Can you hear him shouting himself hoarse without ever mentioning heaven, sin or God’s judgment even once?

[sgmb id=”4″]

God continues to heal whomsoever He wants in answer to the prayers of His saints. Out of His unfathomable goodness, He even heals people who hate Him. But sound, unending health is not guaranteed by Him to anyone this side of eternity. There is not one, single, verse or passage in the Bible that speaks of unending health and bliss to anyone before resurrection. David Oyedepo is touting a promise the Almighty has not uttered from His mouth.

There are no worse liars than Word of Faith people in the whole world. Any liar who could lie against God is at the peak of his trade. What cheek! What audacity to ascribe to God something He never promised!

Rather conveniently Mr Oyedepo forgot to tell his audience that Kenneth Hagin, his self-acknowledged mentor and teacher, died in 2003 at 86 years of age in spite of his prior ‘revelation’ that his ‘jesus’ told him no ‘christian’ should die before the age of 120. He forgot to tell them that Kenneth Hagin who boasted he never had any sickness in 45 years had five heart by-pass operations during the same period.

Yeah, we get it.

We understand the ‘power of the spoken word’! We understand Hagin when he justified his lies by saying, ‘since I never told anyone I was sick, I wasn’t’! To the frauds and deceivers running the ‘churches’ in much of the world today, you are not ill unless you say so!

“Inside this oil is the person of the holy ghost, holding a fan on one hand and fire on the other, saying (to diseases), ‘You cannot corrupt my floor! I have a duty to keep the floor healthy and sound. Every unwanted thing cannot survive here. You cannot corrupt my floor‘!”

Inside an oil is the Person of the Holy Spirit? The Person of the Third Person of the Holy Trinity is inside a thing? Do you now get it that Mr Oyedepo has no idea, whatsoever, Who God is?

Not even inside blood, which obviously features more in the Bible, did God say He lives. The best we ever got is, ‘…and when I see the blood, I will pass over you’ Exodus 12:13.

But since Mr Oyedepo is at the vanguard of a new religion, these Bible passages may not matter to him.

I hope the reader knows God never uses the word, ‘FLOOR’, to refer to the body of any human being He inhabits? He calls such bodies His TEMPLE. It is only demons that regard the bodies of their victims as floors.

“So he goes in with a fan. Uunn. Uunn. Uunn. And gathers them together and he burns them with unquenchable fire! That’s why certain things inside you stay on ravaging your body for ever until the holy ghost comes in to deal with it.”

Mr Oyedepo’s fake holy ghost, as he is demonstrating here, uses his unquenchable fire to roast sicknesses and diseases in the bodies of his followers and his fan to fan them, uunn, uunn, uunn, away! Apparently Mr Oyedepo’s holy ghost was on leave, away from the body of his wife, when sickness ravaged her body.

The reader may need to read the Bible in Matthew 3:11-12 and Luke 3:16-17 to refresh his mind on the teachings of John the Baptist. I advise the reader reads Luke 3:1-18 to remind himself on the general teachings of John. It will be clear John was never speaking of any physical disease or sickness but sin and evil in the heart of people and its dire consequences before God.

In fact the Person holding a fan in His hand, as far as the Bible passages are concerned, is not even the Holy Ghost but the Lord Jesus Christ and the chaffs are never thought by any Bible scholar to be diseases, but lost people at the end of the Age.

Mr Oyedepo displays his hatred of the Lord Jesus Christ by removing the Lord from Bible passages making direct references to Him and inserting his own fake holy spirit performing his fake healing.

David Oyedepo, The Old Man And A Snake

“The wife and the children (in a family) came to the church. It was an anointing service day. The wife came in (back home) and anointed everything in the house. The husband was very furious, and, in trying to stand up (to stop his wife), the back pain he had suffered for years had disappeared! …He threw a paper on the floor, he bent down and picked it up! The wife anointed everything in the house, all the clothing. The following day, the (husband) visited his (home) construction site, and, getting a knock at the back of his neck, thought someone threw a stone at him, not knowing it was a snake that just gave him a bite! (But) he was wearing an anointed cloth: that set him apart. It ended there!”

Did you get the drift of this convoluted tale? The unwilling husband was bribed by the holy ghost with healing so he might fall in with his wife!

I am sure by now the reader knows there is no example of anything of this sort in the Bible. But since Mr Oyedepo does not know anything about the True God and his followers are not any better, he is lying so brazenly against Him.

Readers should note the appearance of the snake in the story. We will return to it later.

David Oyedepo, The House Wife And A Snake

“I was brought back with your song to Jos. That song was sung by a choir in Jos in 1996. There was a woman in that service. And I said, ‘Hey, the holy ghost has a fan in his hand and fire on the other to clean you up, clean you up, set you free. Do you believe that?’ She said, ‘Yes’. And I said, “Ok, now, take a little of this oil. Tell him (holy ghost), ‘Go on in, clean me out, set me free. Send away every unwanted stuff on my inside’”. The woman was in that service. The husband was not a believer.(She) got this oil, put a little of it in the car, went home and was getting trouble on the tommy (local slang for stomach), went to the toilet and excreted a long, winding, living snake. Long. The snake lifted up its head, she shouted haaaaa. The husband rushed to the washroom to see it.”

Here you have the snake, again. Can the reader recollect anytime any Apostle anointed anyone with oil or any other Christian object or ritual thing and the person excreted ‘a long, winding, living snake’?

There is more to come.

David Oyedepo Brings Out Another Snake

“1994 as I was ministering this mystery, a young lady was here. She had a very disturbing odour. She carried about a disturbing odour. She was a smelly lady. Everybody shuts the nose when she passes by. It was a planting of the Devil into her life, to molest her destiny. And I gave her something on the (head?) in the church in the name of Jesus Christ. And she excreted three strange things: one, a snake; two, a live seedling, like maize growing, and, three, a talisman, (a) charm wrapped. And immediately the odour ceased!”

A snake, a live seedling, like maize growing, and, a talisman, (a) charm wrapped? Any Bible reference or example?

In the process of a one-hour sermon Mr Oyedepo has told his audience of the appearance of snakes and scorpion upon his followers applying his ‘anointing oil’ at least four times.

You do not need to have participated in occult enchantment or read any of Dr Kurt Koch’s books to realize something is awfully wrong in what Mr David Oyedepo is describing.

Since there is no example of similar or faintly identical occurrence in the Bible, the reader must concede Mr Oyedepo, if he can be believed, is in contact with some power that is not connected to the Lord Jesus Christ.

What Mr David Oyedepo is boasting on here is known as materialization in occultism. It is not a feat normally allowed by Satan to low-level occults just learning enchantment: it’s only for the high-ups in the craft.

So, Mr Oyedepo is right: he is unto something no one had ever seen in the church before.

But the church always knew where such things come from. And since a leopard cannot shed its skin, his spirit masters reveal themselves by making sure they materialize harmful beasts in the main.

The reader needs to pause and consider what he is reading (or hearing, if he has put on the sermon itself) here. Which religious/spiritual group causes things to manifest from thin air? Magicians and sorcerers. And not even every ordinary magician or sorcerer produces snakes and scorpions when they apply their secret arts. Mr Oyedepo is no mean sorcerer.

But God was fully aware these men would appear:

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Cor 11:13-15

Do you need any more reason to warn anyone close to you attending Winners’ Chapel (and any other Pentecostal or charismatic ‘church’)?

Turning squarely to his audience, Mr Oyedepo boomed:

‘Covenant people like you are entitled to total health! The kind of sacrifices that come out from you, the kind of commitment, a aa, you demonstrate, you are not permitted to suffer humiliations’!

Does the reader understand the terrible sin this man is committing here? He is hanging his ‘covenant people’s’ health and hope on God’s ‘indebtedness’ for their “sacrifices” and “commitment”, not on the mercy, blood sacrifice and goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ!

“Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” Heb 10:29

In one fell swoop, David Oyedepo has swept away ALL of the hope in the Works and Person of Christ from the lives of his listeners! If Satan were to manifest himself and stand physically on that podium, he would hardly had been able to say more.

Mr Oyedepo says his “covenant people” are entitled to total health. Who gave them that entitlement?

Since, contrary to the Satan-induced lie David Oyedepo feeds his followers, everyone’s health, including his, fails, what do you suppose these people will think about God when their health eventually fails? God’s goodness? Never. They will remember a wicked ‘Debtor’ who could not stand by his undertaking.

Is it not sad that perhaps the last thought most Word of Faith and Health and Wealth people have about God before they leave the Earth is the ‘unreliability’ and ‘wickedness’ of the Almighty!

That is some achievement for our ‘men of God’.

David Oyedepo Sells His Cure-All Oil

“Diabetes is consumed with unquenchable fire, now! That hole in your heart: the holy ghost is filling that hole, now! That’s his job! That’s his job! That’s his job! The Spirit of God unfolded this to me.”

Mr Oyedepo is so high in the divine hierarchy, higher even than the Lord Jesus Christ that he is aware of the new jobs now assigned to the Holy Ghost, jobs the Lord Jesus Christ never hinted at when He was here! John 14:26, John 15:26. John 16:13-14

Did you see the special ‘revelation knowledge’ again? ‘The Spirit of God’, not the Bible, ‘unfolded this to me’.

“You’ve been cheated long enough: an avoidable weight, an avoidable weight, an avoidable waste: because it’s already part and parcel of your redemptive package. It’s an avoidable waste!

Cheated? By who? Of course, by God who could not keep His side of the bargain, or perhaps, His ‘opposite equal’ whom He cannot control?

Mr Oyedepo is selling a package he knows nothing about.

“(The anointing oil) shall make alive your mortal body. It shall quicken your mortal body! Quicken!”

Anointing oil quickening someone’s mortal body? Sure. Since Mr Oyedepo’s anointing oil is the holy ghost!

David Oyedepo Sells Wisdom Oil

“Wisdom is the heritage of our children. Matthew 11:19: it said that wisdom is justified of her children. Wisdom is your heritage in Christ. So as we administer this mystery today, I like you to expect him to clean (your brain) out, to flush every debris in your mental faculty so that the excellence that God has reserved for you will come to light!”

Since the anointing oil was God, according to the Messenger To Our Generation, is it not a small thing it could also give wisdom?

As we advised in an earlier post, you must check any and every Bible passage any preacher calls out in his sermon and read a few verses before and after the passage. That is God’s sure antidote against your being deceived. It helps you spot evil hidden in supposedly holy ideas.

Have you spotted the inappropriateness of Matthew 11:19 with the other statements Mr Oyedepo is making in the paragraph above? Can you see anywhere in or around Matthew 11:19 where the Lord Jesus Christ is alluding to anything about wisdom being any child’s heritage?

Can you find any passage in the Bible where God promised wisdom as heritage to anyone’s children? Like health and wealth Mr Oyedepo hawks, there are no Bible verses you can use to validate them. They all originate in the heart of our bishop.

“I like you to take that bottle (of anointing oil) and see the Person of the holy ghost holding in his hand a fan and holding in his (other) hand a fire touch. And see him doing his thing in order to keep his floor (your mortal body) tidy, sound, healthy and enviable. He shall thoroughly garnish his floor! He shall gather the chaff and burn them with unquenchable fire. He shall separate the wheat and gather them into the garner. He will gather the valuables. He will destroy the corruptibles.”

Is the reader able to see this for what it is? Open idolatry.

Only occults teach people to visualize God: visualization of a spirit is an aspect of witchcraft, never taught anywhere in the Bible. That is what Mr Oyedepo is doing here, teaching pure occultism.

The coven is now in the open, in the pretext of a ‘church’.

“Don’t look at it as a chemical product from whatever company it came from. Look at it as a mystery as God’s prophetic words begin to come into it”.

Sure. The chemical company producing God!

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Pe 1:20-21

Since, according to the Bible, no prophecy from God ever came by any man’s mere mind or wish, what Mr Oyedepo is calling ‘prophetic words’ can only be incantations.

“This is going to be your best day ever!”

Yeah, sure. Since the people he is talking to are not born-again Christians, that could well be the best day of their lives. If they were true Christians, they would have known that no human being can have a day better than the day God forgave him of his sins, the day he was born again.

Your soul, not just your money, is the target

“Every time you put a scripture to work, you’re tapped into the divine nature. So you exercise a divine authority over that thing!”

That statement is pure occultism. Christians do not put any ‘scripture to work’ independent of the sovereignty of God as Mr Oyedepo put it here. God is never divorced of either His power or His sovereign will. Mr Oyedepo does not know God or how He operates. His ideas of God are from what he read from the shamanic writings of Essek William Kenyon, Phineas Quimby and Kenneth Hagin. These ones got their teachings from cults, New Thought, New Age, Freemason and Hindu writings. It is only in the occult they speak of ‘tapping’ into the ‘divine nature’ as if God were an inanimate fluid flow.

“The holy ghost is in the oil. The power of God is in the oil.”

The Holy Ghost is NOT in any oil. That is an occult and idolatrous idea. God is not resident in any physical object. Only cultic people teach what Mr Oyedepo is teaching here.

“You take delivery of your heritage of total health from the oil! What else do I take from the oil? Say with me: “Supernatural insight”! Say it louder: supernatural insight!”

Apparently Mr Oyedepo’s wife has not been able to take delivery of her heritage of total health from the oil.

Every reader should take serious caution whenever anyone who never saw the Lord Jesus Christ in person, when He was physically here, comes forward teaching things those the Lord Jesus Himself named as His Apostles NEVER taught. Mr Oyedepo is proclaiming ‘heritage of total health’. That is a serious addition to the Bible. Galatians 4:13 says Paul preached to the Galatians while being sick. Philippians 2:26-27 says Paul’s assistant, Epaphroditus, was sick, ‘nigh to death’. In 2 Timothy 4:20, Apostle Paul left Trophimus, another assistant, at Miletum, sick. Timothy himself was often sick and was advised by Paul to drink wine rather than water, 1 Timothy 5:23.

However Mr Oyedepo says he has discovered some hidden truths through which men may ‘take delivery of their heritage of total health’. If this is true, Mr David Oyedepo is higher than Paul and Paul’s assistants. He is higher than even the Lord Jesus Christ Who never taught any such idea; in fact Mr Oyedepo is higher than God, the Father, Who never gave any such inspiration to any of the writers of the pages of the Bible. If Mr David Oyedepo’s claims are true, we can very safely infer he is never going to die – since he needs to be sick to die.

Mr Oyedepo says his oil has ‘supernatural insight’. He is deceived. True supernatural insight is only in the Lord Jesus Christ. What David Oyedepo is taking for supernatural insight is clairvoyance derived from demons and familiar spirits. Occult people have access to that.

That is the source of the snakes and scorpions his followers excrete.

You must then ask yourself a few pertinent questions:

What could be the purpose of Mr Oyedepo using plain Bible passages to divert people’s attention away from what can be plainly seen, to totally unrelated ideas? Since his teachings are occultic and Hindu, why not be bold and use the Bhagavad Gita and other Hindu texts for his sermons? What does he stand to gain in misleading people from plain meaning of words on sin and evil to things such as physical sicknesses that are not present in the texts? Why does Mr David Oyedepo think there is any good purpose to be served in playing down the gravity of sin against a holy God and substituting physical illness for sin in totally unrelated passages? How come Mr Oyedepo is not afraid in toying with God’s stated wrath against man’s alienation from his Maker? Why does he think it is okay to divert his listeners’ attention away from God’s warnings that sinners should return to Him or else they die? Whose wish is he serving in doing this? How did Mr Oyedepo manage to grow the audacity of twisting the words of God to say what it never said and what no sane person can see in the passages of the Bible while pretending he is a ‘man of God’?On the basis of what does Mr Oyedepo think he can call God’s judgment to question in stating His Son’s blood must be shed and believed by man or else there is no hope for any man?How does he get about trivializing the awesome issue of sin and judgment and placing money and temporal physical wellness above God’s PLAN OF REDEMPTION – and sleeping well at night? How many millions of souls has he contracted with his demon masters to drag into hell with him?

The main aim and object of Mr David Oyedepo’s commission from his spirit masters is to confuse and minimize so as to obliterate the Person and Purpose of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ from the minds of his hearers. These spirits, even as the Bible prophesied, are supplying him power and miracles for lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:7-10

“It (the anointing you received from the oil) places you into that principal thing, supernatural insight: always knowing what to do every point in time from God’s words by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says he (the anointing you received from the oil) will teach you all things. How many things? All things! So when you are anointed with spiritual insight, you gain access into all things that relate to the challenges you might be confronted with per time!”

“..you gain access into all things that relate to the challenges you might be confronted with per time” through the oil?

His oil constitutes you into a god, now knowing ALL things?

Can you not hear the voice of the Serpent of Genesis chapter three in all this?

That is who you are listening to anytime you hear David Oyedepo or any other Word of Faith or Prosperity Preacher teach.
