The Bible, in many of its passages, speaks of a very strange time that should come in human history. The time, it says, should be characterized by so-much hatred for the true God that people shall appear, who, even though they have no contact with or commission from the true God, shall thrust themselves forward as His ministers and spokesmen.
The Bible even says many, many people, being fully deceived, shall follow these preachers . These people shall accept teachings from devils while being fully deceived in their minds they were following God.
But God never recognized them as His children . Deep down in their hearts, these people, just like their deceived and deceiving preachers, never developed the love for the truth (1 Thessalonians 2:8-10). They hankered after miracles and signs and wonders but not after God or His righteousness. In their mind of minds they did not mind if the miracles came through means other than God. God was never deceived by their show of piety.
The Bible gives the following after-death scenario in the Book of Matthew:
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. Mat 7:22-23
But the Bible actually goes much further in describing that peculiar time. It says
“… many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many”. Mat 24:5
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many”. Mat 24:11
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect”. Mat 24:24
“Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron”. 1 Timothy 4:1
That time is here
What Little Can We Do?
One of the little things we can do is warn people to begin to pay attention to what preachers say with their Bibles , not their minds, open. You will see some evidence of this in this site.
Secondly, we can start retracing our steps, as much as possible, to the simplicity of New Testament Christianity.
Under the guidance of the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, Bible Study and Prayer Groups are being set up in every city, town, street and village in Nigeria and other parts of the world . There shall be these Study Groups anywhere we have two or more people willing to check the Bible and find out the will of God for their lives. [sgmb id=”4″]
The aim is to learn the Mind of God as revealed through the Lord Jesus Christ solely on the basis of the words of God written in the Bible. The studies shall be sola scriptura, the Bible alone.
The aim shall be to seek the Lord, not on the basis of any material or financial gift or benefit we may receive from Him but because He is our only hope for life and for eternity. The Lord Jesus Christ, being our Creator and Redeemer, shall be the main object of the Study Groups.
It shall be the Christianity of John Bunyan and Billy Sunday and A W Tozer; of Paul, of Peter, of Thomas, of Luke, of Silas, of Jude, of John. We abhor the sorcery from Azusa Street and the witchcraft of the New Apostolic Reformation of C Peter Wagner, the Kansas City Prophets, the Vineyard or the Pensacola Assembly of God.
In line with the guidelines in the New Testament, particularly Matthew 23:8-10, there shall not be any ‘man of God’ or ‘super’ Christian in any of the groups. Going by the practices in the Acts of the Apostles, everyman, young or old, once born again, shall have the opportunity, not only to learn, but also to teach and lead, as the Lord enables him.
The Study groups shall meet every Tuesday or Wednesday between 5.00pm and 7.30pm, local time, each group setting the best day and time for its meeting.

Not many people have done so much in spreading heretic Christianity and doctrines of devils in Africa in the last forty or so years as Reinhard Bonnke.
Not many people have sat up to compare his teachings with the clear writings in the Bible on God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
For those who have paid a little attention to the contents of the Bible, Reinhard must be the poster child of those whom the Lord said, “ I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied“,Jer 23:21.
Many Africans, in hell, will curse the day Bonnke was born.
Is it too soon checking what Reinhard Bonnke teaches with what the Bible says?
Since God is never going to change His Mind even when all the world conspires against Him, we think you should be given the opportunity to check what the Bible actually teaches.

Power, with God, is not about the number of people meeting or praying in a place: it is about the connection of the one or the few with the True God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
