David Oyedepo Would Slap His “Jesus”

White Magic As Christianity

Strange Faith Sourced From Hinduism

I am starting this short post by quoting from one of the works of the late Christian evangelist of the last century, Dr Kurt E Koch, in Between Christ And Satan:

“In the true prayer of faith, the person concerned submit completely to the will of God. In white magic, the idea is to compel God to act. With true prayer, God is really involved, whereas in white magic the name of God is only used by way of a technical formula. Genuine prayer is inspired by the Holy Spirit. The white magician is inspired by the power of darkness. Those who pray as the scriptures direct are strengthened in their faith, even when their prayers are apparently unanswered.

Those involved in white magic invariably have their faith paralysed, that is if they had any previously. However, through white magic some may even obtain what they actually desired, and so it is only in the effects that its true nature is revealed. The boundary between prayer and magic can be very fluid. Sometimes it is essential to have the gift of discerning of spirits if one is to differentiate between the genuine and the imitation articles.”

The following is the transcription of part of a 2015 sermon titled, How To Command Your Healing And Deliverance, by Mr David Oyedepo.

David Oyedepo Would Slap His “Jesus”

The least you should note is the inversion of the relationship between the creature and the Creator in the ‘sermon’:

“Enough is enough!

Hear me now or forget it, Jesus!

I know you’ve got it in your hands; you’re not going to prepare for it : already paid for.

Give it to me today or never!….”

“And let me tell you how I got healed of tuberculosis: I got up in the night and I saw that all the students have removed their beds from me…so I was like a leper. And I had consumed Matthew, Luke, Mark and John.

I came out of the hostel room and I stood on a rock behind the hostel; and I said: Jesus, if it is true that you did all that is recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, heal me now , or…..(I did) as if I would slap him(Jesus)!

He (Jesus) said: “Ma binu” (Please, don’t be angry with me!).

He (Jesus) rooted it (tuberculosis) out the same day!”

Sermon: David Oyedepo, How To Command Your Healing And Deliverance 2015, 7th minute

Was it possible the Glorified Lord Jesus Christ that John saw in Rev 1:17 and the beloved Apostle turned deathly pale, Mr Oyedepo was almost slapping here? Could He possibly be the same Mr Oyedepo was issuing ultimatums to? Could He?

Was the Lord Jesus Christ, the Alpha and the Omega, the One of Whom it is written “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made”, John 1:4, and the One to Whom the truly redeemed in heaven sing “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created, Rev 4:11, and before Whom they wrote “… the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them”, Rev 20:11, the same person who was cringing so much in fear before Mr Oyedepo so the latter might not slap Him? And He (Jesus) quivered so thoroughly before Olaniyi the only thing He could mutter was, “Ma binu” (Please, don’t be angry with me!)? And what else could the petrified god do than to promptly ‘root out the thing’ (tuberculosis) from his boss ‘that same day’?

Are you not alarmed that some people, so-called Christians, could hear these blasphemies and break out in applause, some stamping their feet on the ground in unconscionable glee? And you think these people are followers of Christ?

The Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible was NOT the One that healed Mr Oyedepo of his tuberculosis. He does not take commands or ultimatums from a mere creature much less from a rebellious creature who is on a self-appointed errand representing the God he neither knows nor fears nor respects.

Being healed of a disease or sickness otherwise than by the God of heaven is not new to the Bible. Satan does this everyday everywhere on earth in furtherance of his purposes. The scripture in 2 Corinthians 11:14 says, “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” with “…power and signs and lying wonders”, 2 Thessalonians 2:9, all geared to cement the deception of the people who have not accepted the love of the truth.

White Magic

What, really, is white magic? Dr Koch on pages 71 to 75 of the book, Between Christ And Satan, defined white magic as black magic, incantations and prayers of command rounded off with the addition of the phrase, “In Jesus’ name” or, “In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost” or, “In the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob” coupled with the adoption of Christian symbols and rituals. This is witchcraft.

You may wish to watch “pastor” Enoch Adeboye similarly teach sorcery as Christianity in the first video embedded in the following article. The video was published by the Redeemed Christian Church of God: https://www.thetruechristianfaith.com/2017/07/01/enoch-adeboye-the-fortune-teller/.

Did you hear him issuing decrees for blessings to appear in the lives of his followers?

Do you have one example of anyone in the Bible issuing similar decrees to God? Or are the orders to be executed by the Devil? The Pentecostal and Word of Faith people are NOT worshipers of the God of heaven: they neither know Him nor fear Him. They are servants of a god they created.

Matthew 7:22-23 is in the Bible.
